Alright, through talks on the IRC I have realized that I don't give good indie enough of a chance. And I should, because the usual glaring "problems" I have with it are trivial. And the fact that people I hate love indie doesn't help too much either (one of the biggest things). On top of my stupid hate of most women, which is probably a more subtle factor (for my aversion to feminine/cute/happy music). I'm trying to branch out even more than I already have been, here. I will try my hardest to be blind to pretension if there is any. And if the music doesn't strike me after trying to understand this long, so be it.

By "indie", I don't mean independent label. I mean that cutesy new artsy stuff you guys all like so much. Don't pull me too far away from my comfort zone though... Even though I enjoy a lot more diverse music than you guys think...

Can you guys please give me a starting point? I'm a clean slate (for the most part).
